A Love Letter to My Daughters: A Journal for Myself
My name is David McLeod and this site is the open curation and expression of my fears, failures, and disappointments, as well as my experiences of redemption, purpose, and hopefulness. In many ways it's a tribute to my daughters and the ways they inspire me every day. They bring to my sight and consciousness the best possibilities of who I can be. They are the incarnation of the better angels, and in that, they help me remember, and even reconcile, the best parts of myself.
I also know that I am a flawed human being who makes mistakes every day and has so much room to grow. This space serves as a collection of some of my feelings, musings, perspectives and journey. This is one space for me to explore my growth process. These poems are a way for me to document how my life has been saved by the purpose of fatherhood and the gifts of redemption and second chances. May I never forget how lucky I am.
